Back to work on Monday

After taking Sunday off, we got back to work on the Carlyle Memorial Hall Renovation on Monday.  There was more painting and trim detailing going on in the hall.  The photo below is of some more detailed painting.

If you have ever been involved in a project like this you know that details, such as ensuring the painting is correct, takes a lot of time.  It is all about the 80/20 rule.  80% of the effect comes from 20% of the effort, and 20% of the effect comes from 80% of the effort.  We are trying to get 100% of the effect, so our painting crew is putting in the necessary effort to get that effect.  

Work also progressed on the bar front.  More curved sections were built.

These pieces and the others previously constructed will be assembled to form the front of the bar.  Test fitting of one of the sections will progress tomorrow.  Once the test fitting is complete surface finishing laminates will be installed.
