Working on Saturday

Those involved in volunteering on the Carlyle Memorial Hall thought that we would put in a few hours to make some more progress on Saturday.  The photos below show some of the progress.

Painting progressed inside the bar.  A very rich colour was chosen and it looks great in person.  The lower paneling throughout the hall was also painted, but photos of that work were not included.   They will be added on a later posting.

More work took place on assembling bar components, which are shown above.  They are interesting shapes and will form a unique bar.

This photo shows one of the bar components as it was test fit into place.  

All in all this is an interesting project, and a lot of work has been done.  A lot more work has yet to be done, but it is exciting for all of us who are involved, and we feel that it will be a great addition to the hall.
