Continuing construction

It has been a couple of days since I updated.  Well, work has been progressing, but we are working on important details.  The photo below shows the bar being test fit in place.

Test Fitting is essential because of the way the hall is constructed.  Once the bits and pieces are completed they need to be fitted so the necessary modifications can be done to make a complete and professional installation.

This photos shows the construction of the upper bulkhead above the bar, which will be installed to make the bar look complete and to give a place for very attractive lighting.

The bar and the bulkhead are having the external finishing laminates installed so they are ready for installation.
Work is also continuing with painting in the hall.  In addition modifications are being performed on the lower section of the walls to improve the appearance of the hall.
All this work takes time and effort, but it will be well worth it in the end.

The next major step is Flooring Installation and is scheduled for February 1, 2014.

On February 1 we hope to start installing the new flooring.  If you know anything about flooring, or if you don't, but want to help, please show up at the Carlyle Memorial Hall on February 1.  We usually start work around 10:00 AM, but you can drop in anytime to help.

We have put almost a month into this project, so please stop in and see the changes that we have made.
